Name: Two houses in Petrovice
Cooperation: Lenka Pechanová,

The first two houses from a newly planned development are built in the area close to the nearby Hostivař dam. They were built on a relatively narrow and sloping plot so as to not disturb each other. At the upper part of the plot there is the material efficient house, open towards its southwest garden in front of it. Lower at the slope there is the more articulated house with its individual volumes „leaning“ against the northern wall that separates the house from the common access road open to the garden in its southwest and south directions. Communication of the inner area with the garden is made possible by its generous glazing, the embedded atrium and the high rate of greenery. In the future, the greenery will absorb both the roof and the north wall, made of gabion baskets.
