„The Miracles of Science“
The showroom of DuPont boasting this slogan is founded on the proclaimed “miracles” – DuPont’s materials are not presented as exhibits, their form the entire interior of the room. The proposed space is separated from the administration building, in which it is found, with the ribbon made of DuPont’s genuine materials including Corian, SentryGlas Expressions and Butacite. The motif of fibres applied to the ribbon refers to the substance of most DuPont’s products. In a broader sight this motif is understood also as a reference to the world of chemical bonds and reactions, to DuPont’s world of science. This idea is then rounded off by optical interconnection with the real laboratory.
